The yellow flower is a canna lily and they grow from bulbs. I'm in zone 6a and I have to dig them up in fall to overwinter in the garage or tool shed.

I’m getting ready to do this also but never thought about the electrical aspect -- we have an outside standing lamp that is no longer there (a kid broke it in half) but wires are taped up & covered securely on it. I wanted the pond in the backyard but it’s supposed to be good luck to have water flowing toward your front door & that could make use of the electric! Your statue is beautiful.

Well, we getting some rain hope it makes it your way. My potted plants outside really need it. Your garden is really tranquil with the water and the. What do you do with the fish during the winter? I have a rooster that crows in my neighborhood constantly because I am in an area that close to a rural area. So you want a gas grill? Where you have to take empty containers to be refilled, or it runs out in the middle cooking? Those kinds of grill make me nervous because my guy friend had one and this was always it out of fluid when I needed it and I hate lighting it. Do you bring any of your plants in? The leaves are falling where I am at to in KCMO and looking at the Fall leaves pickup schedule and we got 2 again this year. We had some chilly days last week and now we hop back to almost a hundred. Well we got a storm brewing so getting off the computer
